Washington Post
Following on from yesterday - the YouTube post! - I've just found out there are some more links available. They come from my UK publisher Orion:
- extra 1 - Tarot
- extra 2 - Debussy
- extra 3 - Musical Inspiration
I've also just been sent a link to a review of Sepulchre in the Washington Post - and the reviewer seems to have enjoyed it!

Hello Kate,
Yes, a good review, well done. Dont you just hate it that they talk about the cliches? I think sometimes you need those cliches because they work so darned well! The storms, Halloween the mobs of angry villagers. Cliches are grounded in fact and truth! I am meaning to write you a longer post about how much I loved Sepulcre. Such a superior, wonderful book. I totally lost myself in it. Thank you so much for writing it. Also for your Blog which I get so much inspiration and advice from. I'm a below mid-list author who is keeping on keeping on after about twelve years of writing. Authors like yourself who are generous with their advice and wisdom really should be covered in gold and put on display. Enjoy your weekend. x

I sometimes get asked to review and, because it isn't my profession - I do not make a living from being a critic - I am able to choose. That means that I only review things that I enjoy or admire or, at the very least, respect. After all, there are so many works of literature or art or architecture or whatever. Don't you think that life is too short to waste on the works you don't enjoy - too short not to celebrate the things you love instead. If something isn't to your taste, just let it drift away in silence, don't you think?
Anyway, thanks for your kind words and good luck with your work.
Kate
